Who we are

For the data described here we are the data fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and the controller under equivalent laws elsewhere.

This policy covers people who visit gautamitservices.com and the businesses we work for. It does not cover your customers' data inside your own Meta ad account: see "Data in your ad account" below.

What we collect

• What you send on the contact form: your name, work email, country and phone number, brand or website, industry, the service you are interested in and your message.
• Emails, calls and messages between us.
• Once you are a client: your business details, billing contacts, invoices and payment records.
• The materials you send for your ads: product information, images, brand assets and past ads.
• For Performance Marketing: through partner access to your Meta account, your campaign settings and performance data.
• Technical information collected automatically when you browse: IP address, device and browser, pages viewed, the page you came from and approximate location.
• We never ask for card numbers, bank details or ID documents through this website.

Why we use it, and on what basis

The analytics and advertising tags in the last two rows load when a page loads, before you have been asked. Until that changes, you can refuse them in your browser; the Cookies section below explains how, and nothing on this site stops working if you do.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass your enquiry to advertisers or lead brokers. We share what is needed with the providers that make our work possible, each under its own terms:

• Meta Platforms: the Meta pixel on this site, which measures our own advertising, and your Meta ad account, which we work in for Performance Marketing.
• Google: Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager on this site, and our business email.
• The AI production tools we use for voices, avatars and motion, which receive only the scripts and product materials needed to make your ads.
• Our cloud hosting providers, which store this site, our files and the delivered ads.
• Our accountant and, if ever needed, our legal advisers, and any authority we are legally required to disclose to.

Data in your ad account

Your Meta ad account, pixel and audiences, and the customer data in them, belong to you. We access them with partner access only to run your campaigns, under your instructions. We do not copy your customer data out of your account, use it for other clients, or market to your customers.

Cookies

This site loads Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and the Meta pixel. They set the cookies below. Nothing you type into the contact form is sent to Google or Meta: the form goes to our own server, and Meta is told only that an enquiry happened.

To refuse them, block cookies for this site in your browser settings, use Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or change your Meta ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences.

Where it is stored, and for how long

Data is stored with cloud providers that may process it outside India, under the safeguards in their own agreements.

If you don't become a client, we keep your enquiry for up to 24 months from your last contact. Client data is kept for the length of the engagement and 12 months after it ends. Invoices and tax records are kept for as long as the law requires.

How we protect it

• This site is served over an encrypted connection.
• Access to client files and ad accounts is limited to the people working on them, each with their own login.
• We remove our access to your accounts when an engagement ends.
• If a breach ever affects your personal data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent you have given. If you are in the EU, the UK or a US state with its own privacy law, you have similar rights, and we will honour them as that law requires.

To make a request, email contact@gautamitservices.com. We will reply within 30 days. In India, you may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This site and our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top shows when it was last revised. Questions and complaints about personal data go to our grievance officer at contact@gautamitservices.com, or by post to Gautam IT Services, 1st Floor, 521/30 A, Friends Colony, Near Tirupati Palace, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh 251001, India. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
